For the mission, we created fundraisers to collect donations of money and materials. For example, as part of the official Dental Health Day (25.9.) and other occasions.

Donations make a big difference in Ethiopia and Madagascar – A travel report
Menschenfreude e.V. has been active for schools in Ethiopia since 2021. In November 2022, I had the opportunity to travel with them to the country before leaving for Madagascar. This is my travel report. I am Joost, 21 years old, from the Netherlands.
Vernissage: PEOPLE JOY PICTURES solemnly opened – further dates in 2023
The first photo exhibition of Menschenfreude e.V. was opened at the weekend in the context of a large vernissage. The exhibits were framed by selected artifacts from the respective countries, accompanying texts, and artistic installations. In January 2023, the exhibition will move on – initially to Alfter City Hall. Other locations are planned.

With human joy through the summer – here’s what’s new
Back from the summer break, the Menschenfreude team hopes you had a few nice, sunny weeks. Just like us. Some of us took a little time off, others were active throughout in the spirit of the good cause. What’s new at Menschenfreude e.V., we tell you today.
Ukraine aid, school satchel campaign and well construction in Madagascar… in august it will go on here…
With the start of the summer vacations, we are also taking a short summer break in the Menschenfreude media. Behind the scenes, however, things are continuing apace: for example, with the school bag campaign run by Janine and Olli Drathen* in Bonn. Jürgen Perteck is involved with the well construction project in Madagascar, among other things. And the aid transports for the people affected by the war in Ukraine also continue – thanks to many volunteers. In mid-August, we will be back at this point: Among other things, with the author’s reading from “Verlassenes Land” by Dr. Knuth Martens in Alfter.
