Taking a look back at the past year 2019, new members and supporters have been added. The amount of unsalaried volunteer active members has doubled.

DHL, represented by Dr. Dirk Olufs, Louisa Forbah and George Adejungbe, supports our organization with the transportation of the drinking water systems to Nepal. In order to illustrate the work of the organization there is an information event at DHL Headquarter in Bonn with cake sales by Yvonne Schaale, Kai Werner and Jürgen Perteck.

As part of the "Durlacher Lesesommer" ("Durlacher Reading Summer") in Karlsruhe, Christian Lundbeck presents three short stories about Nepal in the Hofgarten. The proceeds were donated to the organization.

The donation of the charity run was handed over by the school's director Mrs. Erika Khaliji to Jürgen Perteck.
The fourth drinking water system is bought by the organization. Mrs. Diana Blank from INAQUA coordinates the shipment to DHL and the shipping company.
The record amount of 9.636,00 € was achieved by the charity run of GGS Oedekoven. The total was rounded up by REWE, represented by Ralf Grathwohl, to 10.000,00 €. 50% of this amount goes to the organization. The other 50% receives the school.
Two drinking water systems were bought from this donation. Another one was sponsored by INAQUA.
Mr. Udo Kolbe (INAQUA) travels to Nepal (on his own costs) to check the drinking water systems.
After an invitation of Mrs. Erika Khaliji, the school director, a presentation was hold at the local primary school (Grundschule GGS Alfter Oedekoven) in front of 400 children. Jürgen Perteck shows lots of pictures of children in Nepal and how they live. Jürgen Perteck encourages the children to support the nepalese children with their upcoming charity run.
During their trip to Nepal, Anke Skwirblies and Andreas Zörbel discover a sports field that was destroyed by the earthquake and in need of renovation. Both of them came into contact with Nepalese who want to take care of the difficult reconstruction. Spontaneously the organization gives the promise to support this sports field and pays for the fencing. Now there is a place for meetings and sport activities.
Church Service with subsequently presentation in Alfter Witterschlick. On this occasion a donation (800,00 €) was spent to our organization. The event is accompanied by Miriam Becher, Bettina Flachmeier, Dr. Uwe Hentschel, Maximilian and Jürgen Perteck.

With help by Narajan (local unsalaried member) the local school's drinking water systems were examined. After that, plans were made for a complete renovation. German specialists were involved in this process. Jürgen Perteck takes water samples back to Germany.
A school in Pokhara was equipped with basic educational materials, school uniforms and warm hats by Narajan Pahari.
The jerseys sponsored by Telekom are handed over to a basketball school in Kathmandu by Nabin Pande, Julian, Jenny and Lars Ertzinger and Anthea, Nicholas, Maximilian and Jürgen Perteck.
