Menschenfreude outreach near and far
In recent months, teams from Menschenfreude e.V. have made many trips. Contacts were established and aid projects were launched. Among them: School and student projects in Nepal, Ethiopia, Senegal and Madagascar, aid transports to Ukraine, humanitarian aid to Romanian slums.
Clean drinking water was provided to children, teachers and their families. Learning materials were purchased and local initiatives were promoted. All in all: moving encounters for all involved.
Impressions of life and culture – besides the daily project work
In addition to very practical, technical assignments – such as the installation of drinking water filters, the repair of school equipment or the construction of water pipes and wells – pictures have been created that reflect life, everyday life, the cultures of the countries visited. Personal perspectives and insights.
“The people are incredibly friendly, helpful and also very humble. It’s very moving to see how you can make them happy with little things that are everyday for us. And how hospitable they are and show us their everyday life.” (Memories of the trip to Ethiopia in May 2022)
Thus the idea was born to present these personal pictures to a wider public in the context of an exhibition: MENSCHEN FREUDE BILDER with photographs by Kerstin Schley, Kathrin Anderseck and Jürgen Perteck – all volunteers of the association Menschenfreude e.V and passionate amateur photographers. Vernissage of PEOPLE JOY PICTURES on Saturday – exhibition until Sunday evening
We cordially invite you! The following information:
- Ceremonial exhibition opening with champagne reception on Saturday, 19.11.2022 at 6.30 p.m.
- Exhibition open until Sunday, 20.11.2022, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Place: Village house Alfter-Gielsdorf, Auf der Heide 10, 53347 Alfter near Bonn
- Admission: voluntary donation in favor of Menschenfreude e.V.
- All pictures are available for purchase – after the exhibition as a print via an entry in order lists. The purchased image(s) will be delivered by mail a few days later.
- The official humans joy registered association calendar 2023 with 12 selected motives from MENSCHEN FREUDE PICTURES is to be likewise acquired at the price of 18,50€.

Further exhibition dates are already being planned for 2023. We announce dates accordingly via our media. If you are interested in exhibiting our pictures, for example in your school, company or public institution, please contact us by email.
