At the extraordinary general meeting the name of the organization "Maximil-Nepal-ian e.V." is changed to "Menschenfreude e.V." (this means human happiness). The articles of association will be changed so that from now on we are allowed to be active also in other countries and locally as well.
At the annual general meeting the present members unanimously decided to change the organization's name and expand the scope of the organization. The change of the name is based in the fact that Maximilian himself expressed the wish to make this possible. Maximilian's idea was not to be at the centre with his name, but rather that people should only concentrate on making other people happy by helping and participating. We took the fact that the organization has grown significantly in the past year, in combination with the change of the name, to be able to work and help in other countries as well. The information on the changes to the articles of association of Mr. Berndt Langrock, who brings with him many years of experience as a board member in another area, was also very helpful. On this evening, our treasurer Anke Skwirblies presents a seamless checkout, which was checked and confirmed by Sarah Schlich and Andreas Zörbel.
